It's the kind of trip that's easy to say yes to. 5 nights from Port Canaveral on April 21, 2028, visiting Disney Lookout Cay, Nassau and Disney Castaway Cay. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Disney Destiny joined the Disney Cruise Line's lineup in 2025. Still has that new-ship feel. Good for anyone who can't take two weeks off but still wants the cruise experience. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Port Canaveral has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
