Ocean Discovery – Roatan, Costa Maya & Cozumel
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 14-night sailing from Miami on May 20, 2028 visits Roatan Island, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Ocean Cay, Puerto Plata (Amber Cove) and San Juan. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Crossing 5 borders through the Caribbean: Honduras, Mexico, Bahamas, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, MSC World America (2025) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Miami has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.

The price above matches MSC Cruises's USD site. MSC Cruises prices every country separately, so the others may show something different.
We added MSC Cruises's mandatory service charge to the prices above, so they show the real total. MSC Cruises bills it on board rather than in the fare, so their own site will quote you less.
