Long enough to properly switch off but not so long you need to reorganise your entire life. This 7-night sailing from Vancouver on July 14, 2028 visits Sitka, Tracy Arm Fjord, Icy Strait Point, Juneau, Hubbard Glacier and Seward. You wind up in Seward, so it's worth planning a night or two there. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 6 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Glaciers, whales, snow-capped mountains. Alaska is about as far from a beach holiday as you can get. Icy Strait Point stands out. It's Wilderness at the edge of the Inside Passage. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Celebrity Equinox has 10 dining spots on board, most of them included. And July means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. All in all, it's a solid trip.
