A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Barcelona on July 15, 2028 visits Palermo, Mykonos, Rhodes, Santorini and Piraeus (Athens). You get off in Piraeus (Athens), which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. A lot of Western civilisation started around here, and the views haven't changed much since. Don't rush through Piraeus (Athens), which is known as The Acropolis beckons from the harbour. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Celebrity Xcel joined the Celebrity Cruises's lineup in 2025. Still has that new-ship feel. And July means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool.
