About this cruise
7 nights, 5 ports, all from Barcelona on July 8, 2028. The route visits Villefranche-sur-Mer, Portofino, La Spezia, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Cagliari and the whole thing just flows. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. Hot coastline, hilltop villages, and very good food. That's the Western Med in a sentence. You get around 11 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Celebrity Xcel launched in 2025, so everything on board is still new. You can tell.
