A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Vancouver on July 7, 2027 visits Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay and Ketchikan. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. The wildlife alone makes it worth it: whales, bears, eagles, sea otters. Bring binoculars. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Juneau, A capital only reachable by sea or sky. Roughly 8 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Zaandam keeps you well fed. 6 places to eat, with 4 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. Long enough that you stop checking your phone. Short enough that you're not bored. If you can, add a night in Vancouver before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And July means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
