About Carnival Dream

Carnival Dream launched in 2009 as the lead ship of a new class and represented a genuine step forward in Carnival's ambitions. At 130,000 GT she was the largest Carnival had built and introduced features like Lani, the outdoor walk-around promenade deck, and the Carnival WaterWorks waterpark that became fleet standards. Dream's larger public spaces and expanded dining lineup (including the first iteration of The Chef's Table) signaled that Carnival was ready to compete more directly with Royal Caribbean on ship scale.
