Carnival Firenze transferred from Costa Cruises in 2024 and represents an interesting addition to the fleet. Originally Costa Firenze, she carries an Italian-influenced design sensibility that sets her apart from other Carnival ships. At around 135,000 GT she slots above the Dream class in size. Carnival added its signature dining brands (Guy's Burger Joint, BlueIguana) during the conversion while keeping some of the Costa-era Italian restaurants, giving the ship a genuinely unique food lineup. Firenze sails from Long Beach and brings something distinctly different to the West Coast market.
