Carnival Paradise entered service in 1998 as the last of the Fantasy class and originally made headlines as the fleet's first non-smoking ship. That policy is long gone, but the ship retained her reputation for being approachable and easy to enjoy. Paradise runs short sailings from Tampa, typically three to five nights to Mexico and the western Caribbean. Her smaller size and casual atmosphere make her a popular choice for first-time cruisers testing the waters.
