About Celebrity Solstice

Celebrity Solstice launched in 2008 and introduced one of the most talked-about features in cruise history: the Lawn Club, half an acre of real grass on the top deck where guests can picnic, practice putting, or just lie in the sun on living turf 15 decks above the ocean. At 122,000 GT she was Celebrity's largest ship at the time and established a stripped-back design language (clean lines, floor-to-ceiling glass, muted colour palettes) that set her apart from busier-looking competitors. The Hot Glass Show, a partnership with the Corning Museum of Glass, brought live glassblowing to sea for the first time.
