MSC Seaside

MSC Seaside flipped the typical cruise ship design inside-out when she launched in 2017. Huge glass panels, cascading aft terraces, and a 360-degree promenade right at waterline level bring the ocean closer than just about any other ship. Six pools (including one that appears to float above the water) plus the longest waterpark slides at sea made her an immediate hit. The beach-club style aft and innovative promenade went on to influence the design of basically every large cruise ship that came after.
