About Diamond Princess

Diamond Princess launched in 2004 and has spent most of her career sailing out of Japan, making her the most Asia-focused ship in the Princess fleet. At 115,900 gross tons and carrying around 2,670 passengers, she features a Japanese bath complex, a Kai Sushi bar, and public spaces designed with Japanese and Eastern aesthetics. Diamond Princess gained worldwide attention in early 2020 during the COVID-19 quarantine in Yokohama. She was built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Nagasaki.
