About Liberty Of The Seas

Liberty of the Seas joined the Freedom class in 2007 and quickly found her own identity in the Western Caribbean market. A 2020 Royal Amplified refit gave her Thrill Island (a dedicated entertainment zone with the Ultimate Abyss dry slide and a multi-level pool complex), a reimagined Royal Promenade, and expanded dining options. Liberty homeports in Galveston, making her the nearest major Royal Caribbean ship to Texas's huge cruising market. The loyal following of Texan families has made her one of the most reliable performers in the fleet.
