About Vision Of The Seas

Vision of the Seas launched in 1998 as the ship that gives the class its name. The whole concept was an open, light-filled vessel that felt connected to the sea at every turn. The Viking Crown Lounge, cantilevered from the funnel 14 decks up, is still one of the most dramatic public spaces ever put on a cruise ship. After years of US homeport rotations, Vision now sails in Australia and Southeast Asia, reaching passengers who value her comfortable size and high crew-to-guest ratio.
