9 nights - Highlights of the Western Mediterranean - from/to Palma
About this cruise
9 nights is that sweet spot where you actually start to relax. This sailing from Palma de Mallorca on August 30, 2027 visits Ajaccio, Civitavecchia (Rome), La Spezia, Marseille and Barcelona and doesn't try to cram in too much. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. The Western Mediterranean route takes in France, Italy and Spain, 3 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. La Spezia stands out. It's Gateway to the pastel villages of Cinque Terre. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Mein Schiff Flow (2026) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Palma de Mallorca before boarding. It's a good city to wander. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. All in all, it's a solid trip.
