A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Piraeus (Athens) on October 24, 2026 visits Bar, Corfu, Messina, Naples and Barcelona. Last stop: Barcelona. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. The route threads through 4 countries along the Western Mediterranean coast: Montenegro, Greece, Italy and Spain. Of the stops, Messina tends to be the one people talk about: Sicily's gateway to Mount Etna and Taormina. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Sun Princess joined the Princess Cruises's lineup in 2024. Still has that new-ship feel. Piraeus (Athens) itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.
