Barefoot Horizon – Marseille to Guadeloupe
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 22-night sailing from Marseille on October 30, 2027 visits Genoa, Naples and Messina, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. Last stop: Pointe-à-Pitre. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. The route threads through 8 countries along the Western Mediterranean coast: Italy, Malta, Spain, Antigua & Barbuda, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Barbados, Martinique and Guadeloupe. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, MSC World Asia (2026) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. 22 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. Being shoulder season helps: golden light, comfortable weather, and shorter queues at the popular spots. Good route, good ship, good timing. It all lines up.

The price above matches MSC Cruises's USD site. MSC Cruises prices every country separately, so the others may show something different.
We added MSC Cruises's mandatory service charge to the prices above, so they show the real total. MSC Cruises bills it on board rather than in the fare, so their own site will quote you less.

This cruise does not return to Marseille. It ends in Pointe-à-Pitre, so your flight home leaves from there.
