Boreal Adventure – Icy Strait & Juneau
About this cruise
You sail from Vancouver on July 11, 2027 and spend 7 nights visiting Icy Strait Point, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau and Ketchikan. It's a well-tested route and there's a reason people keep booking it. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. As for the ship itself, Celebrity Summit takes the food seriously, with 9 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. The sweet spot for most travellers: you get to know the ship, see the ports, and come home before the laundry piles up. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Vancouver has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Good route, good ship, good timing. It all lines up.
