Cactus & Carrara – Marseille, Genoa & La Spezia
About this cruise
7 nights, 5 ports, all from Barcelona on August 15, 2027. The route visits Marseille, Ajaccio, Genoa, La Spezia and Civitavecchia (Rome) and the whole thing just flows. The trip wraps in Civitavecchia (Rome), so you won't retrace your steps. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. French Riviera, Amalfi Coast, and everywhere in between. Probably the most popular Med route for a reason. You get around 12 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Sun Princess launched in 2024, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. An August departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. Whether you've cruised before or not, this 7-night itinerary is a genuinely good one.
