Caribbean Escape – San Juan & St. Maarten
About this cruise
The kind of trip where you lose track of what day it is, and nobody cares. 12 nights from New York on March 6, 2028, visiting Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), San Juan, Tortola, Basseterre, Philipsburg and St. Thomas. The first couple of days are at sea, which gives you time to settle in and get to know the ship before the ports begin. 6 countries (Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts & Nevis, Sint Maarten and U.S. Virgin Islands) across the Caribbean, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, You won't go hungry on Norwegian Bliss. 7 restaurants come with the fare, plus 11 more when you feel like treating yourself. 12 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
