About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from San Juan on January 16, 2028 visits Oranjestad, Bridgetown, Philipsburg and Basseterre. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. The route threads through 3 countries along the Caribbean coast: Netherlands, Barbados and St. Kitts & Nevis. Of the stops, Basseterre tends to be the one people talk about: Volcanic peaks over a Caribbean harbour. Around 8 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Norwegian Viva joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's lineup in 2023. Still has that new-ship feel. San Juan itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point.
