Caribbean Grand Tour – St. Lucia & Barbados
About this cruise
You come back from a trip like this actually rested, not just "I went on vacation" rested. 12 nights from Fort Lauderdale on April 11, 2027, visiting Basseterre, Castries, Bridgetown, Willemstad, Kralendijk and Oranjestad. The sea days come first, which means no rushing to get off the ship on day one. You hit the ports relaxed and ready. The Caribbean route takes in St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, Barbados and Netherlands, 4 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. Don't rush through Kralendijk, which is known as Bonaire's colourful coral capital. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Celebrity Eclipse keeps you well fed. 10 places to eat, with 5 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. If you can, add a night in Fort Lauderdale before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And April is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. All told, 6 ports across 12 nights covers a lot.
