Caribbean Odyssey – St. Thomas & Aruba
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 14-night sailing from Boston on November 8, 2026 visits St. Thomas, Castries and St. George's, with additional stops along the Caribbean. You get off in New Orleans, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. The first couple of days are at sea, which gives you time to settle in and get to know the ship before the ports begin. 6 countries (U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Lucia, Grenada, Netherlands, Cayman Islands and United States) across the Caribbean, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, You won't go hungry on Norwegian Breakaway. 7 restaurants come with the fare, plus 13 more when you feel like treating yourself. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. Being shoulder season helps: golden light, comfortable weather, and shorter queues at the popular spots. 14 nights of not thinking about anything except where to eat next. That's the pitch.
