Coastal Cavern – Yucatan & Cozumel

You leave New Orleans on February 15, 2027 and come back 5 nights later with a tan and a few good stories. The route visits Cozumel and Progreso (Mérida). You start at sea, hit the ports, then finish at sea. The ports feel like the centrepiece, framed by lazy ocean days. Port to port, the water changes colour and the music changes too. That's the fun of it. You get around 8 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, There are 12 restaurants on Carnival Valor, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 5 nights. You'll probably start planning the next one before this one's even over.
