Sometimes you just need a few days out of your routine. This one sails from Brisbane on March 27, 2028, spends 3 nights visiting Sydney, and gets you back before anyone really notices you were gone. You wind up in Sydney, so it's worth planning a night or two there. 2 consecutive sea days. It's the kind of sailing where you properly decompress and lose track of what day it is. Flat whites in Melbourne, coral at the Great Barrier Reef, and fjords in New Zealand. Hard to pick a highlight. Sydney stands out. It's Where the Opera House meets the harbour. Grand Princess takes the food seriously, with 10 restaurants to choose from. 6 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Works well as a long weekend away, or a quick reset between bigger trips. And March is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. All in all, it's a solid trip.
