Cobalt Shallows – Aruba, Curaçao & Panama
About this cruise
Every port gets the time it deserves and the sea days in between are half the fun. This 11-night sailing leaves Fort Lauderdale on March 27, 2028 and visits Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), Oranjestad, Willemstad, Panama Canal, Colon and Grand Cayman Island. Every port day is followed by a sea day, so you get time to sleep in, use the ship, and look forward to the next stop. 5 countries (Dominican Republic, Aruba, Curaçao, Panama and Cayman Islands) across the Caribbean, each with its own character. Oranjestad stands out. It's Aruba's cheerful Dutch-Caribbean capital. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Celebrity Ascent (2023) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. And March is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. All in all, it's a solid trip.
