Coral Serenade – Virgin Gorda & Curacao
About this cruise
The kind of trip where you lose track of what day it is, and nobody cares. 14 nights from La Romana on March 27, 2028, visiting Catalina Island, Oranjestad and Willemstad, with additional stops along the Caribbean. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. The route threads through 9 countries along the Caribbean coast: Dominican Republic, Aruba, Curaçao, Caribbean Netherlands, Grenada, British Virgin Islands, Sint Maarten, St. Kitts & Nevis and Antigua & Barbuda. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, MSC Opera has 4 restaurants on board, which means you could eat somewhere different nearly every night. 14 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
