Frostbound Wonders – Juneau, Sitka & Ketchikan
About this cruise
7 nights is that sweet spot where you actually start to relax. This sailing from Vancouver on August 1, 2027 visits Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Icy Strait Point, Sitka and Ketchikan and doesn't try to cram in too much. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Of the stops, Icy Strait Point tends to be the one people talk about: Wilderness at the edge of the Inside Passage. Around 8 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Serenade Of The Seas takes the food seriously, with 8 restaurants to choose from. 2 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. This length suits most people. Enough time to settle in and actually unwind, without the trip dragging on. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.
