Frozen Frontier Adventure – Ketchikan & Skagway
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Vancouver on September 4, 2026 visits Ketchikan, Sitka, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier and Seward. You wind up in Seward, so it's worth planning a night or two there. You ease into this one, with a few sea days up front to find your rhythm before the 5 port calls start. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Hubbard Glacier stands out. It's North America's largest tidewater glacier. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Ovation Of The Seas takes the food seriously, with 16 restaurants to choose from. 6 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. All in all, it's a solid trip.
