Gilded Seaboard – Saguenay, Halifax & Manhattan
About this cruise
This is the kind of cruise where you actually have time to go back to a port highlight you missed the first time. 13 nights from Quebec City on October 29, 2027, visiting Saguenay, Prince Edward Island and Sydney, with additional stops along the US & Canada East Coast. You get off in Fort Lauderdale, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. The final stretch is open ocean, which gives you time to process everything you've seen and use the ship one last time. Lighthouses, clam chowder, and cold Atlantic air. The East Coast at its most itself. You get around 11 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Caribbean Princess has 13 restaurants on board, which means you could eat somewhere different nearly every night. Longer sailings have a different energy. People relax into it, stop rushing, and start actually talking to each other. An October sailing dodges the peak crowds while the weather is still cooperating. Well timed. 13 nights of not thinking about anything except where to eat next. That's the pitch.
