Glacial Frontier – Ketchikan, Juneau & Skagway
About this cruise
This one leaves Seattle on July 5, 2026 and spends 7 nights visiting Ketchikan, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria at a pace where every day has something going on but there's always time to just sit and watch the water too. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. As for the ship itself, Star Princess joined the Princess Cruises's lineup in 2025. Still has that new-ship feel. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Seattle has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
