Glacial Frontier – Ketchikan, Juneau & Skagway
About this cruise
7 nights is that sweet spot where you actually start to relax. This sailing from Seattle on May 16, 2027 visits Ketchikan, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria and doesn't try to cram in too much. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. The wildlife alone makes it worth it: whales, bears, eagles, sea otters. Bring binoculars. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Victoria, English gardens on Canada's Pacific coast. Port time is tight at about 7 hours each. Pick your favourites and save the rest for another trip. Star Princess (2025) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Seattle before boarding. It's a good city to wander. Timing-wise, spring usually means comfortable temperatures and lower prices than peak season. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
