You board in Seattle on August 22, 2027 for 7 nights visiting Ketchikan, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria, and you come back from this kind of trip wondering why you don't do it more often. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. The wildlife alone makes it worth it: whales, bears, eagles, sea otters. Bring binoculars. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Victoria, English gardens on Canada's Pacific coast. Port time is tight at about 7 hours each. Pick your favourites and save the rest for another trip. Star Princess launched in 2025, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Seattle before boarding. It's a good city to wander. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
