You sail from Piraeus (Athens) on July 18, 2026 and spend 7 nights visiting Santorini, Mykonos, Kusadasi, Valletta and Barcelona. It's a well-tested route and there's a reason people keep booking it. You wind up in Barcelona, so it's worth planning a night or two there. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. The route threads through 4 countries along the Eastern Mediterranean coast: Greece, Türkiye, Malta and Spain. Most ports give you about 12 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Celebrity Xcel launched in 2025, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
