A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Seattle on May 26, 2026 visits Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Victoria. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Ketchikan stands out. It's Totem poles, rain, and wild salmon. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Carnival Spirit takes the food seriously, with 9 restaurants to choose from. 6 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Long enough that you stop checking your phone. Short enough that you're not bored. And May is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. All in all, it's a solid trip.
