Mediterranean Gems – Riviera, Sicily & Barcelona
About this cruise
You board in Marseille on March 29, 2026 for 7 nights visiting Genoa, Naples, Palermo, La Goulette (Tunis) and Barcelona, and you come back from this kind of trip wondering why you don't do it more often. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. 3 countries (Italy, Tunisia and Spain) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. Genoa stands out. It's Columbus' birthplace, a labyrinth of caruggi. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. You won't go hungry on MSC Splendida. 2 restaurants come with the fare, plus 4 more when you feel like treating yourself. Timing-wise, spring usually means comfortable temperatures and lower prices than peak season. All in all, it's a solid trip.
