Mediterranean Getaway – Rome, Genoa & Marseille
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Civitavecchia (Rome) on September 15, 2026 visits Genoa, Marseille, Tarragona, Valencia and Livorno (Florence/Pisa). Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. 3 countries (Italy, France and Spain) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Valencia, Futuristic architecture and ancient orange groves. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. You won't go hungry on MSC Orchestra. 3 restaurants come with the fare, plus 2 more when you feel like treating yourself. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
