Mediterranean Magic – Barcelona, Rome & Nice
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Valencia on August 22, 2026 visits Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Civitavecchia (Rome), Genoa, Marseille and Tarragona. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. 3 countries (Italy, France and Spain) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. Genoa stands out. It's Columbus' birthplace, a labyrinth of caruggi. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. You won't go hungry on MSC Orchestra. 3 restaurants come with the fare, plus 2 more when you feel like treating yourself. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. All in all, it's a solid trip.
