Mediterranean Marvels – Rome, Malta & Barcelona
About this cruise
If you want the classic cruise without a massive time commitment, this is a strong option. 7 nights from Genoa on January 10, 2027, visiting Civitavecchia (Rome), Messina, Valletta, Barcelona and Marseille. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. 4 countries (Italy, Malta, Spain and France) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, MSC World Asia (2026) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. The timing adds to it: swapping cold weather for sunshine and sea air is the whole pitch for a winter cruise. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
