7 nights is that sweet spot where you actually start to relax. This sailing from Genoa on January 24, 2027 visits Civitavecchia (Rome), Messina, Valletta, Barcelona and Marseille and doesn't try to cram in too much. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Crossing 4 borders through the Western Mediterranean: Italy, Malta, Spain and France. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Marseille, France's oldest city, salty and soulful. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. MSC World Asia (2026) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. A January sailing is basically an excuse to chase the sun for a week or two.
