No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Vancouver on August 8, 2027 visits Icy Strait Point, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau and Ketchikan. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Don't rush through Ketchikan, which is known as Totem poles, rain, and wild salmon. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. Celebrity Summit takes the food seriously, with 9 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. This length suits most people. Enough time to settle in and actually unwind, without the trip dragging on. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere.
