Saffron Sunset – Yucatan & Progreso

You leave New Orleans on November 23, 2026 and come back 5 nights later with a tan and a few good stories. The route visits Cozumel and Progreso (Mérida). You start at sea, hit the ports, then finish at sea. The ports feel like the centrepiece, framed by lazy ocean days. Rum punch at the beach bar, snorkelling off the dock, sunsets that are genuinely worth staring at. You get around 8 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, You won't go hungry on Carnival Valor. 9 restaurants come with the fare, plus 3 more when you feel like treating yourself. A November sailing dodges the peak crowds while the weather is still cooperating. Well timed. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
