Saltwater Solstice – San Juan & Grand Turk
About this cruise
Every port gets the time it deserves and the sea days in between are half the fun. This 14-night sailing leaves Port Canaveral on September 6, 2026 and visits Grand Turk Island, Puerto Plata (Amber Cove) and San Juan. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 3 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Crossing 3 borders through the Caribbean: Turks & Caicos Islands, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), Dominican amber and Atlantic waves. Roughly 8 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Caribbean Princess takes the food seriously, with 13 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
