Short Escape – Rotterdam & Cherbourg
About this cruise
4 nights from Hamburg, visiting Rotterdam, Cherbourg and Le Havre (Paris). It sails October 18, 2026 and it's the sort of trip where you come back saying "I needed that." You get off in Le Havre (Paris), which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. Hardly any sea days here. It's basically port-hopping the whole way. Castles, old pubs, and rough coastline. The British Isles show up differently at each port. Don't rush through Le Havre (Paris), which is known as Normandy's port, Paris's gateway to the sea. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. You won't go hungry on MSC Preziosa. 5 restaurants come with the fare, plus 2 more when you feel like treating yourself. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. All told, 3 ports across 4 nights covers a lot.
