Spice Route – Aruba & Curacao
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Cartagena on March 12, 2028 visits Oranjestad, Willemstad and Colon. In between port days, the 3 sea days are where cruise life actually happens: reading, eating, napping, repeat. Port to port, the water changes colour and the music changes too. That's the fun of it. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Colon, Where the canal connects two oceans. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. There are 8 restaurants on Grandeur Of The Seas, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. Cartagena itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And March is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
