Starfish Basin – Ocean Cay & Cozumel
About this cruise
A trip this long changes your rhythm entirely, and that's very much the point. 14 nights from Miami on July 18, 2026, visiting Roatan Island, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Ocean Cay, Puerto Plata (Amber Cove) and San Juan. The itinerary clusters several port calls together. Fast-paced for a few days, then the sea days hit and you can catch your breath. The route threads through 5 countries along the Caribbean coast: Honduras, Mexico, Bahamas, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. You get around 10 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, MSC World America launched in 2025, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. Longer sailings have a different energy. People relax into it, stop rushing, and start actually talking to each other. A July departure puts you in the best summer conditions: long days, warm nights, plenty of sun. You start in Miami and come back with stories from Honduras, Mexico, Bahamas, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
