Totem Grove – Baranof Island & Victoria
About this cruise
This one leaves Seattle on September 11, 2027 and spends 7 nights visiting Sitka, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Icy Strait Point, Ketchikan and Victoria at a pace where every day has something going on but there's always time to just sit and watch the water too. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. Roughly 7 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. As for the ship itself, Norwegian Bliss takes the food seriously, with 18 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Seattle has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. Being shoulder season helps: golden light, comfortable weather, and shorter queues at the popular spots. 7 nights of not thinking about anything except where to eat next. That's the pitch.
