Wanderer's Knot – Amber Cove & Virgin Islands
About this cruise
This one leaves Port Canaveral on July 25, 2027 and spends 7 nights visiting Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), St. Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay at a pace where every day has something going on but there's always time to just sit and watch the water too. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Crossing 4 borders through the Caribbean: Dominican Republic, U.S. Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bahamas. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Roughly 8 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. As for the ship itself, Norwegian Aqua joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's lineup in 2025. Still has that new-ship feel. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Port Canaveral has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. You start in Port Canaveral and come back with stories from Dominican Republic, U.S. Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bahamas.
