Wanderer's Wake – Panama & Cartagena
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Colon on August 22, 2026 visits Cartagena, Oranjestad and Willemstad. Ports up front, sea days at the end. By the time you're back in Colon, you'll feel properly rested rather than rushed. The route threads through 3 countries along the Caribbean coast: Colombia, Aruba and Curaçao. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Oranjestad, Aruba's cheerful Dutch-Caribbean capital. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. There are 8 restaurants on Grandeur Of The Seas, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. Colon itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And August means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
