Western Caribbean Escape – Cozumel & Roatan
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Galveston on November 21, 2026 visits Cozumel, Roatan Island, Harvest Caye and Costa Maya. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. The route threads through 3 countries along the Caribbean coast: Mexico, Honduras and Belize. Roatan Island stands out. It's Honduras' reef-fringed island hideaway. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Norwegian Viva joined the Norwegian Cruise Line's lineup in 2023. Still has that new-ship feel. Galveston itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. All in all, it's a solid trip.
